Marcel René Widjaja, M.A.

Art Historian & Guide-Conférencier

Trained in art history at the École du Louvre in Paris and the University of Heidelberg, I specialise in the interpretation of European art, architecture and cultural history. As a licensed guide-conférencier accredited by the French Ministry of Culture, I provide access to the national museums of France and beyond.

My academic path has taken me across several cultural contexts, with periods of study and work in France, Germany, Russia and Brazil. These experiences have shaped a perspective on travel that is both international and deeply rooted in cultural nuance.

Before founding Passepartout Voyages, I worked for several years within an established German travel agency, where I developed and led cultural itineraries throughout Europe. This practical experience continues to inform the way I design and organise journeys today.

My work is centred on creating curated cultural experiences that combine intellectual depth with a refined sense of travel. Whether through private tours in Paris or small group journeys across Europe, my aim is to reveal not only what we see, but how and why it matters.

Passepartout Voyages reflects this approach: a form of travel where precision, elegance and cultural understanding come together to create experiences that resonate beyond the moment.
